The Bee Creative Program
Bee Creative introduces schools, camps, and community groups to the world of street art through an engaging blend of education and hands-on creativity.
What We Offer
Street Art Education
Delivered as an assembly, classroom session, or group presentation, this component gives participants an inside look at the culture and purpose of street art. We explore:
- The origins of graffiti
- Street art vs. vandalism and the importance of respecting public art
- How street art shapes vibrant communities
- Jeff Denomme’s artistic journey and behind-the-scenes insights from The Haunted Zoo
- Creative confidence and self-expression
Sessions are interactive, encouraging youth to ask questions and dive into thoughtful discussions about art in public spaces.
Spray Painting Workshop
Participants learn the basics of spray painting through a guided, hands-on experience. This workshop helps youth understand the impact of public art by actively creating it, sparking confidence, teamwork, and a deeper appreciation for creativity.
Program Options
Temporary Wall Workshop
A mobile spray-painting experience using an 8’ x 8’ temporary wall brought directly to your location. Ideal when:
- No permanent wall is available
- A contained, flexible activity is preferred
- A small group is participating
This option delivers all the excitement of street art in a clean, accessible format.
Youth Mural Installation Experience
A collaborative opportunity for youth to help create a permanent, professionally designed mural.
We work with each organization to develop a theme, design the artwork, and manage all installation logistics—from wall preparation to final touch-ups.
Youth contribute directly to portions of the mural at ground level, experiencing the pride of creating a lasting piece of public art for their school or community.
