The Zookeeper is a fast-moving docuseries that drops viewers inside the world of artist Jeff Denomme, aka The Haunted Zoo, as he turns blank walls, public spaces, and big ideas into powerful, community-driven works of art. Fueled by collaboration and creative risk, the series captures projects that pull youth into street art culture, amplify Windsor’s tech and food scenes, and spotlight the people shaping the city from the ground up. Every episode follows the full arc—from first sketch to final reveal—showing how art can disrupt the ordinary, spark connection, and redefine a sense of place.
Currently in production, the series is created alongside award-winning filmmaker Gavin Michael Booth, whose cinematic, human-first storytelling brings raw energy and emotional depth to the creative process. Together, they document the pressure, problem-solving, setbacks, and breakthroughs that come with building large-scale public art in real time—where nothing is guaranteed and everything is on the line.
Grounded in accessibility, mentorship, and community participation, The Zookeeper positions art as action—an unstoppable force for positive change. It’s a celebration of collaboration over ego, process over perfection, and the people who come together to create something bold, meaningful, and impossible to ignore.
